What BudgetRook collects
Nothing directly. There is no account to create, message box to complete, purchase to make or preference to save. The pages do not contain scripts from analytics companies, social networks, ad exchanges or behavioural profiling services. We do not fingerprint devices or place first-party or third-party cookies.
| Feature | Used here? | Result |

| Advertising | No | No ad cookies or targeting pixels |

Basic hosting records
Like almost every website, the infrastructure serving these files may temporarily process ordinary request information—an IP address, requested path, timestamp, browser user-agent and technical error details—to deliver a page, maintain security and diagnose failure. BudgetRook does not receive or analyse these records to identify readers, create profiles or measure behaviour. The hosting provider controls any infrastructure-level retention under its own operational terms.
This narrow technical processing is different from adding analytics to the publication. We have deliberately installed none. If hosting arrangements change, we will preserve that distinction and update this page if our own practices change.
Links to other websites
Our articles name budgeting apps and may discuss their official pricing or features. If you leave BudgetRook for another site, that operator’s privacy policy applies. External services may use accounts, analytics, cookies or app-store identifiers that we do not control. At launch, editorial pages primarily link within BudgetRook; a product name is not an endorsement of its data practices.
Financial account safety
BudgetRook never asks for bank credentials, account numbers, transaction exports or screenshots. Do not send financial information to anyone claiming to collect it on our behalf. When you use an app reviewed here, inspect that app’s consent screen and privacy policy directly. Our descriptions of read-only connections are general product observations, not access to your accounts.
Children and international readers
Because BudgetRook does not collect visitor information, we do not knowingly collect information from children or maintain regional user databases. The publication is written for a general adult audience. App eligibility, open-banking rules and privacy rights differ by country; refer to the product and regulator relevant to your location.
Policy changes
If BudgetRook later adds any feature that processes visitor data, this policy will be updated before or when that feature launches. The effective date at the top will change, and the new data, purpose and retention will be described plainly. We will not quietly redefine tracking as “personalisation.”
The short version
Read the site without signing in, accepting cookies or being measured by us. That is the entire design. You can learn who writes BudgetRook on the team and methodology page, browse the independent app ranking, or return to the front page.
